The lover, the chef, and the jester....

Boston, New York, Philly, dramatically fling open your French country doors!

Your days of wistfully cooing to the pigeons on your balcony are over…

Loverboys, dust off your sweet nothings, dad jokes, and provocative culinary creations because Josie Qu’s riding into town.

Boston… your continued generosity and consideration has made you the first stop on any East Coast trip. See you tomorrow :)

I only have space left for a dinner date on April 24. May I recommend flirtation over a feast at the James Beard Award nominated, Suya Joint, and a nightcap at Nook?

New York, why are you suddenly feeling so shy? Has the hot chef stolen your tongue?

I’ll promise to return your tongue and your heart if you take me to dinner at Semma or hold my hand as we watch Amélie at the Paris theater.

Philly! You are made of the most robust and generous stock, and have brought a smile to my heavy heart and bosom :)

I have space left for one dinner date on May 1… may I recommend Kalaya?

Chicago: I will return home on May 3.

My May and June calendars are quickly filling up with the dialectical oppositions of romance and sudden moving/housing woes, so I recommend sending your carrier pigeons to my balcony post haste.

I will most likely be pushing my Minneapolis tour off til the fall because of such new circumstances so I apologize!

If you are feeling generous and want to contribute to my moving (or even my future down payment) fund, please get in touch via josiequ@pm.me.

Until then.. bask in the blossoming of spring flowers and buds. Fight against the passing of time by pickling the ephemeral magnolia blossoms, and dream of me brushing my fingers along your quivering lips.

XOXO,

Josie Qu
