San José is for lovers: Date Guide
Dear San José crushes past, present, and future,
It’s been years since I’ve returned to the lovely South Bay. In fact, the last time I was a shy nerd with thick glasses, touring Stanford with dreams of finding romance under the Spanish arches.
I learned that trip that silently staring down my crushes is apparently not flirting. Who knew!
But I’ve returned as a sexy confident nerd approaching my flirty, dirty thirties, with dreams of finding an empathic, witty, and generous artist and lover… even if it’s for a night. And thankfully I’ve learned over the years that flirtation and seduction is so much more than staring!
So why don’t we explore San Jose as lovers, wiser, dirtier, and flirtier with my words as our guide into the day and night?

Ready to worship at the ~devine~ temple of cheese together? There’s nothing more than I enjoy on a date than the sensuality and joy of sharing my favorite foods. And cheese, in the words of the Devine Cheese’s owner, is “silky-sexy, sharp and nutty, old and funky, fresh and frisky”.
And with such luscious words, I think it’s time for us to settle down on some cozy chairs while we share a bottle of wine, cheese, and stories from fresh and frisky to old and funky.
Are we strangers, or are just friends who haven’t met?
We’ve been just waiting to be brought together by the right meet-cute, and Paper Planes is the perfect setting. You’ll spot my body art undulating across my back even in the dim lights, and I’ll spy you across the bar chuckling at the punny name of Thai-Ranosorous. The rest is history…
Great Outdoors
I’m a lover of a good three piece suit on a man, but can we get a round of applause for sexiness of a DILF in hiking shorts? A glimpse of a hairy thigh peeking out of some moisture wicking shorts…. you’ll have me on the redwood forest floor like a banana slug.
And if you pull out an edible fungi or plant identification guide… Darling, the zipper of this Patagonia jacket is making it’s way south.
So with that said, I’m selfishly recommending some hikes, foraging classes*, and bike rides for us in San Jose and Santa Cruz.

The Arts
As an artist, I love visiting artistic spaces whenever I travel because I love learning about local art scenes. Nothing is better though when I experience art with the art itself (I’m talking about you!). So let’s share the warmth of our stories as we’re inspired by the gallery walls, silver screen, and
